The original partners, with over 40 years of home improvement experience, joined in partnership in 1998 forming Shakespeare Home Improvement Company. They ran the business out of one of their homes in the Mountville area for the first few years. Due to continued success and growth of the business, they decided to purchase a property in Mountville, PA.
As business continued to expand, they recruited the current President/Director of Sales, Brian Thomas. He joined the Shakespeare team as Lead Salesman. The business was built on the premise that all customers deserve the best products and services for their money.
Over time, the original partners decided to retire from the business to pursue travel and other interests. Because Brian shared the same vision for the company, it made perfect sense to him to purchase the business.
Thereafter, under Brian’s direction and sales expertise, Shakespeare has blossomed and grown into the well-respected, well-known business that it is today.
Brian, now the sole proprietor, is passionate about continuing to grow the business based on the foundation and values from which it was started. Furthermore, Shakespeare is built on maintaining professionalism, integrity, honesty, and fairness in all relationships. These values are still reflected in the company’s mission statement:
