The original partners in Shakespeare, with over 40 years of experience in home improvement, joined in partnership in 1998 to form Shakespeare Home Improvement Company. They ran the business out of one of their homes in the Mountville area for the first few years. Due to continued success and growth of the business, they decided to purchase the current location property in Mountville, PA.
As the business continued to grow and expand, they recruited the current President/Director of Sales, Brian Thomas, to join the team as the lead salesman. The business was built on the premise and belief that all customers deserve the best products and services for their money.
Over time, the original partners decided to retire from the business to pursue travel and other interests. Because Brian shared the same vision for the company, it made perfect sense to him to purchase the business.
Under his direction and sales expertise, Shakespeare has blossomed and grown into the well-respected, well-known business that it is today.
Brian, as the now sole proprietor, is passionate about continuing to grow the business based on the foundation and values from which it was started. Shakespeare is built on maintaining professionalism, integrity, honesty, and fairness in all relationships which is still reflected today in the company’s mission statement:
